Sisters

My sisters are amazing, each one of them. They are all so unique, yet so incredibly similar... as I'm sure the brother-in-laws would agree. I love them all so much! I've looked up to them my whole life and I've learned so much from their wonderful examples.
I wish everyone was lucky enough to have sisters.
Maren is amazing. She has a way of making me feel like the most special person in the world. One thing I appreciate about Maren is how she has always made an effort to have a relationship with me, and I'm so happy she did. Otherwise, with so many years in age between us, we might not have been as close as we are. Maren is a wonderful mommy and if I could be more like anyone, it would be her. Maren taught me that when good things happen in life, we aren't simply lucky, but rather, we are blessed. She's cute and she's fun. We've always been at pretty different points in our lives... but the great thing is that she's already been through all the points I'm going through now, so she can relate and always makes me feel like she understands.
Jenifer is wonderful and beautiful. I remember telling my friends that my sister Jenifer was a "real model." I've always loved hanging out and talking with Jen. She trusts me when I say, "That looks great on you!" She took me to get my ears pierced. She flew to the States for my high school graduation. I'm one of the first people Jen calls when she has time to chat. When she worked at Ebay, I absolutely loved her weekend trips to Utah. Jenifer is always willing to listen to my stories, and even better, she trusts me enough to share her stories with me.

Lara is darling. I get to see her most often because she still lives in California, and I love it! Lara was my first sister who made me realize that we weren't all just sisters, but that we could be friends too. Lara treats me like her best friend. Lara is such a great mommy, and she makes being a little boy tons of fun. Lara is practical. Lara's husband, Craig, is also one of my best friends. It's been fun the past two summers, while Rob has worked at UCSF, to spend time with Lara... shopping and talking and playing games... she's so great and so encouraging.

And finally, Dalene is super cute. When I first came to Utah for college, Dalene picked me up at the airport. If I hadn't seen her cute face standing in that terminal, I know I would have turned around and headed straight back to California. She let me stay with her those first few nights away from home, but then she gave me the confidence to finally get out on my own. Dalene has always been on my side. She loves me the most I believe. Dalene taught me to not be offended. I love when Dalene gets "drunk", this usually happens when we stay up way too late talking, and then everything is way too funny.

How could I not adore these amazing women?

You are a fashion diva and you help us stay so fashionable! You always seem to have a smile on your face and always ready to take on any task. I loved and miss our Salt Lake weekends as well!
