weekends are the best

I love the weekend! It's one of the only times that Rob and I actually get to hang out together. We've had a great past few days. I had a conference for my art classes up in Park City on Thursday and Friday. Rob was able to come stay at the hotel with me Thursday night. We made it over the outlets, took advantage of the pool and hot tub at the hotel, and just had a fun quick little getaway. On Friday we headed back to Springville and decided to go on a bike ride. The weather has been so nice! 54 degrees and sunny! We are riding in a 60 mile bike ride on June 14th, and so we figured we better start training! We had a bit of a scare when a huge semi dump truck just about hit Rob, but other than that, it was a nice ride. General Conference was wonderful and relaxing and refreshing. I always thought it would be so strange to look at President Monson as the prophet, but as soon as he stood up yesterday, it was suddenly so easy and real and right. I took my friend Helen up the canyon between sessions for a 2 mile walk. I thought that would help that baby decide to come. And it just so happens that she had her baby today! I don't believe I've ever been able to hold a newborn baby on the day of its birth. Her name is Charlotte and she's a beautiful baby! So we've had a great weekend... just in time for another busy week at work. I cherish the time Rob and I get to spend together, I just love it.
