Saturday it rained and rained and rained all day. But we didn't let the weather keep up indoors. We have some trails right out our back door that I've been wanting to explore, so despite the rain, we set out. The trees are thick enough that we didn't get too wet and the mist from the rain made the forest look extra beautiful. It was so lush and green, ferns everywhere and wild flowers. We discovered a gorgeous lake, and that is when we got really wet, but we didn't mind.
