That's right! Today was my last day at Canyon Elementary. It was so sad to say goodbye to my cute class and all the fun friends I've made there.
I have loved teaching!
Now it's summer vacation...
What to do???!!

By the way, this song was our staff theme last year, and I loved it. As soon as I began teaching at Canyon I could tell that I was going to be friends with so many people. And I was right! What a great place to work. So even though it's about the fall and school beginning rather than ending... it reminds me of the good times I had teaching with my good friends.

congratulations! Meliss. I am so jealous (that you are done a week before me and that you have such a loving husband)! Here's your summer suggestion . . . Spend it with me! Aerobics, bike rides, shopping (without spending of course) and sewing. It will be smashing!

BTW: My mom pretty much got that teaching job. She's there now training. She was supposed to make her decision yesterday. I haven't talk to her yet. She appreciated all your help.
