Five years ago these girls and I embarked

on an amazing adventure together.

It's difficult to explain how 10 practically complete strangers became sisters over such a short period of time.

It has a little to do with what we had in common when we first arrived in Romania,

and even more about what we didn't.

We helped each other realize who we wanted to be.

Not only then and there,

but here and now.

And that, my dear friends, is why we are sisters.
