Last Saturday we had a baby shower for Helen!
Helen's mom, Lori, emailed me some cute pictures of Helen as a baby and little girl so we printed them out and put the photos in frames around the room. She also emailed me some darling stories about Helen, so we put those around in frames as well, and everyone enjoyed reading them. It was a simple way to include Lori in the shower festivities. Here's a picture of the mommy-t0-be!
For those of you who have spent any time with me lately, you know how much I love this little baby. Her name is Annie. Her mom, Julie, has been nice enough to let me love this little girl almost as much as she does. Some people in our ward think Annie is mine... despite the fact that I've never looked pregnant... at least I hope I've never looked pregnant.
Any way, isn't Annie darling?? She's the happiest and smiliest little baby ever.
Party Favors
Thanks to Christie, we have these yummy cakes for favors. I wanted to attach this little saying somehow, and Lara gave me the idea to simply stick the card stock in the frosting directly. Thanks for the ideas Lara and Chistie!
(For the recipe, see "These are a Few of my Favorites Things")
Instead of games, all the guests decorated some little onsies for baby Charlotte. Some of them turned out really cute. Thanks to Jenifer for letting us borrow so many supplies! You're the best!
