I Love President Hinckley

By Jenica Bunderson, Age 9
I see his grave covered with roses
And I slowly start to cry
I had loved President Hinckley
Why did he have to die?
I’d loved that he was funny
Holding a pointless cane in his arm
And I loved how he was spiritual
And I adored his heavenly charm
But I know he must be happy
He’s reunited with his wife
I loved President Hinckley
He really affected my life
President Hinckley was love and honesty
With not a tinge of hate
But I know I’ll see him again
In heaven
And I can hardly wait
